  • What qualifies as a TSA-compliant quart size bag?

    A TSA-compliant quart size bag must be clear, resealable, and no larger than 1 quart (about 7.5″ × 8″). This bag meets those standards and works in all U.S. airports.

  • How strict is TSA with quart size bags?

    All liquids, aerosals, gels, creams and pastes that are carried on in a cabin bag must meet the following requirements: Size 3.4 oz (100ml) or less per container and all containers must fit in a quart size clear bag.  While many airports do not make you take them out of your carry on any longer, liquids must still be contained in 1 quart size clear bag and in 3.4 oz containers or smaller. Some airports still may ask you to take them out of your bag.

  • Is mascara and chapstick considered a  liquid?

    Yes, if they can be wiped it is technically counted as a liquid and needs to be carried in a 3-1-1 bag if you want to carry it on.

  • How many 3 oz bottles can I fit in a quart size baggie?

    Not all 3 oz containers are created equal.  Many travel size items come in different packaging. Decant any large bottles to a smaller container with the amount you will need. We offer flat travel bottles which are lighter than silicone bottles and flatten as you use the contents, making them smaller and lighter for the trip home.

  • Can I bring more than 1 quart size bag on a plane?

    No, they allow one clear bag per passenger. This is known as the 3-1-1 rule  3 oz, 1 bag, 1 passenger.

  • Are other countries as strict as our TSA with liquids?

    It depends, all airports will check for liquids and yes they do require that all liquids are carried in 100ml or smaller containers and placed in a 1 quart or 1 liter bag. A few, airports will require you to use their baggies, in which case you just need to transfer any liquids from your clear bag to theirs. We always suggest checking each airport's specific requirements that you will be traveling through to be sure, before you start packing.

  • Can I use this bag internationally?

    Yes. Most international airlines follow similar carry-on liquid rules. Always check local airport policies, but this bag is designed to comply broadly.

  • What liquids are allowed in this bag?

    You can pack travel-size bottles of shampoo, conditioner, lotions, sanitizers, toothpaste, and other liquids 3 oz / 100 ml or less.

  • Can I reuse this bag?
