Borsali is a mashup of two Italian words Borsa = Bag and ali = wings.

Our philosophy is

DO IT ALL in style.

About

Sometime ago, getting somewhere was glamorous, and the traveler felt special even before arriving at their destination. Travel is now more accessible for more people, which is a good thing, but the trade-off is that it's become more regulated and can feel like a chore.

Our brand philosophy is to accept the changes for what they are and find that special feeling no matter how many layovers, TSA checkpoints, long days, and luggage restrictions there may be.

Borsali travel accessories are designed with style and organization in mind. The less you have to worry about, the more you can focus on your experiences and memory making.

Whether you're traveling for business, going on vacation, or making your home space feel like a resort, we wish you all the best.

We are dedicated to the potential in people to accomplish anything.

You DO Have the Wings

Why Can't My Luggage Be Fun AND Organized?

Being organized on the road and at home lets you spend more of your time and energy focused on the actual trip. Do you get tired of digging through bags with dark interiors, emptying and repacking again and again?

Do you also wonder why being organized has to mean looking like you're going on a backpacking trip? If you love backpacking, that's awesome. But sometimes you might ask: where's the glamour of travel?

Borsali combines extreme organization and style. From the moment you start planning your packing list, you'll feel calm, like you're about to embark on a joyous journey.

The Founder

Lauryn Atwood

I've been traveling since I was a little girl, and I'm an overpacker by nature. On my first international trip, to Italy in college, everything that could go wrong with luggage did: my carry-on didn't fit the overhead bin, and I couldn't drag my suitcase over the bridges and cobblestones of Venice. I knew there had to be a better way.

I bought my first "super organized" luggage, but it didn't have the style I wanted. I wanted that glam feeling travel used to invoke, so I started designing and looking for manufacturers. Life changed my trajectory for a while, and my designs went into an old travel trunk.

In 2015 I met my husband, who on our first date told me he was an "Aeronautical Aluminum Tubing Specialist," which turned out to mean pilot. As we traveled together I finally learned to pack light for real. I dusted off the half-finished bags and patterns and put them to the test. My first product launched on Amazon in 2019.

Since then, I've personally tested every Borsali bag on trips to Africa, Switzerland, New Zealand, and beyond, from 3-day trips to 4-week carry-on-only journeys. I'm honored to have served over 90,000 happy customers.

Hint: every country has laundromats and grocery stores. Take a few favorite clothes, a great pair of walking shoes, and your must-have essentials, and free yourself from all the extra weight. Enjoy more of what you love doing.

Why We Started

Borsali began with one traveler's own packing frustration: a Venice trip where nothing fit right and nothing stayed organized. What started as sewn patterns in an old travel trunk became a real product on Amazon in 2019.

How We Test

Every Borsali bag is personally tested on real trips, not just in a studio. Our founder has carried her own designs across Africa, Switzerland, New Zealand, and more, from 3-day trips to 4-week carry-on-only journeys.

Our Guarantee

Every Borsali travel bag comes with a 60-day satisfaction guarantee.

Where to Find Us

Borsali is currently available online through our own store and Amazon. We're not yet in physical retail, but we're working on it and will share updates as that changes.
