This "system" is designed to let you pack and travel the way you want. Many bags have specific compartments for specific items. Sometimes this is too constrictive. If one thing doesn't fit in a pre-determined place, then we tend to try again. Our system includes packing cubes, a travel wallet, a crossbody strap and shoe caps to keep the dirt from your shoes off your packed items.
This ladies carry on duffel system is perfect for either the overhead bin or can also fit under most airline seats.
It measures 17 x 10 x 9.5 inches and is not stiff so it can be "squished" or loaded to the max based on your travel plans.
Empty, our bag is one of the lightest organized duffels coming in at only 2.9 lbs., including the travel wallet! Our secret to getting a lighter bag is in our full length "jean" style pockets.
The interior has 4 side pockets leaving the main compartment nice and roomy for you to pack how you prefer to pack, based on your travel plans. It accommodates a 16" laptop easily, in the main compartment.
We do not recommend checking this bag and as always check your specific airline's requirements for size and weight.

A standard carry on bag can measure up to 22x14x9. A bag this size will need to be placed in the overhead compartment. If you wish to place it under the seat in front of you as a personal item United Airlines allows 17 x 10 x 9. Most airlines have similar measurements within about an inch difference, such as 18 x 14 x 8 . A soft duffel style will usually be a better choice for a personal item than a hard side bag and give you more options when using different airlines.
